Always a bridesmaid, never a bride…

Angie was a great woman, that kind of person you want around when you need a frend or a helping hand. Unlike most of us who make a lot of friends and acquaintances during our life, but as time goes by, we no longer see them, Angie had an inborn capacity to make and maintain friends for ever. Some of the people closest to her were elementary school mates. Angie always seemed to have the time to devote to each other, according to their needs and the particular circumstances of the moment. If her friend had divorced, Angie was the ear and the shoulder to cry on. She became pregnant with her first child, and Angie was there too, to share the moment of happiness. She married, and of course, Angie was the bridesmaid, no doubt about that. But as her personal life, she didn’t seem to hit it off with men easily. As a consequence of this, she was always surrounded with people, but always deeply alone.

The root of her insecurities was her body, particularly the breast. She was quite flat chested, and she was uncomfortable showing her body to others, wearing nice sexy clothes, leave alone a swimming suit. The breast, or rather the lack of it was what she felt a stigma.
