Before and after augmentation. The Guinea pig

What a guinea pig is? You might think s a tender little animal found in the India. But, even though this is true, the metaphorical sense has to do with people used for experiments, to try and prove scientifical facts, although not only scientifical.

In the breast augmentation field, there are some Guinea pigs, of course, most of them women. Do not become one of them! There are two kinds of studies, carried out before and after breast augmentation surgery.

They are called prospective studies and retrospective studies. What are these about? And why it is better to keep away from those studies?

Prospective studies are those where women are exposed to a breast surgery and after that, they are observed over time to see the effectiveness of the medical intervention. But you have already undergone a breast surgery, and what about if the effects are harmful for your health? It is too late to complain.

On the other hand, Retrospective studies starts after the surgery has been performed. But it looks back at any complication that happened in the past. For example, a group of women with breast implants may be asked about the complication they have had after the medical intervention, may be they will be given a list of questions to write down their answers.

As you can see, these kind of studies do not care about women health. They don´t intend to boos their moral and self esteem but to use them as guinea pigs in order to prove certain facts.

Don´t be part of this, you´d rather try other methods with no complications at all and intended only to improve your body image and boost your feminine moral.
